Is ArcAngel Academics affiliated with any government or oversight body?
No. ArcAngel Academics is an independent, privately built software tool. We aren't connected to any state or federal agency, and we can't require you to do anything. You stay fully in control of your school.
Do I have to share my data with anyone?
Never. Your students' information is encrypted and private — we don't sell, share, or report it. The records you keep are for your benefit alone.
Will you show ads or sell our information?
No, and we don't intend to build a business that could. Subscriptions are our only revenue, so schools are the customer rather than the product. We don't advertise, we don't sell student data, we don't sell anyone access to your families, and we don't build advertising profiles of children. The only outside parties who touch your data are the vendors that run the service — cloud hosting and payment processing — and they may use it only to provide it.
What if my school grows or changes type?
Switch anytime. A homeschool can become a co-op; the app reshapes its features and wording to match, and your data comes right along.
Can I bring in records I already have?
Yes. If you've used the ArcAngel desktop app, you can import your
.school file and everything — students, classes, grades,
attendance — comes over in one step.

Is my students' information secure?
