Some school platforms put their price behind a sales call and add fees later. The number on this page is the number you pay.

What every plan includes

All of it. Every module in the catalog, at every price, including your own branding. See the full feature list →

Records & grades. Gradebook, attendance and instructional hours, transcripts, live and official report cards, state compliance and diploma pathways.
Families. Parent and student logins, forms and e-signatures, two-way messages, announcements, newsletters, notifications and chat alerts.
Running a school. Admissions, re-enrollment, reports, family billing, financial aid, lunch, health office, emergency planning, buses, rooms, substitutes, athletics and more.
Security. Encryption, two-step sign-in, role-based access, audit logging, and export of all your data at any time.

Optional add-ons

A few extras carry their own monthly price because they cost real money to run, mostly email and storage. They're never a feature held back from a plan. Each shows its price on your school's billing page before you switch it on, and you can switch it off at any time.

Extended message retention Add-on

Keep messages in the live inbox for up to 5 years (instead of 1). Older messages are always archived regardless.

Personal digest emails Add-on

Families and staff can choose a weekly, fortnightly or monthly email of what's new and what's waiting for them.

Messages by email Add-on

Messages arrive by email in full, and people answer by replying. Sent through ArcAngel, so nobody sees anyone's email address.

A higher email limit

Messages are always delivered in the app at no charge. Emailed copies have a generous daily limit per school; anything over it goes out the next day, and emergency notices are never held back. A school that needs more can ask for a higher limit as a small usage add-on.

Fees on family payments

Only for schools that collect tuition or fees through ArcAngel. Your plan price doesn't change.

ArcAngel's fee

  • A small flat amount per online payment, shown on your tuition setup page before you connect
  • Never a percentage of tuition
  • Never on cash or check
  • Your choice: absorb it, or, in states where it's allowed, pass it to the payer as a convenience fee
  • Refunded with the payment: a card refund returns our fee on that amount too

Stripe's card fee

Payments settle directly into your school's own Stripe account; ArcAngel never holds your money. Stripe charges its own processing fee on each card payment and takes it from your payout. That fee is Stripe's, not ours, and Stripe publishes its rates.

Trying it, and leaving

A 14-day free trial. Create your school and use everything. No card needed to start.
If the trial ends. Your school goes view-only rather than disappearing. Everyone can still sign in and see everything, and your administrators can still export it.
Cancel anytime. There's no contract. Your subscription is paid through Stripe Checkout, so your card details never reach ArcAngel.
Your data leaves with you. Export a re-importable file and plain spreadsheets at any time. When an account is closed, its data is returned or deleted within 60 days, as our Privacy Policy says.
